The owners needed an extra bedroom without losing garden space and asked for a finish that matched the rest of the house.

Working at the top of an occupied home, sequencing structure, insulation and finishing while keeping disruption manageable below.

We built a rear dormer for usable head height, added a skylight on the front pitch for cross-light, insulated to current standards and finished with second-fix carpentry, plastering and decorating.
